Thank you to everyone who joined us for our guided bird walk in Borsdane Wood on Thursday evening.

It was a lovely evening in the woods, with a great turnout and a real sense of shared interest and enjoyment as the group made its way along the paths. We were especially grateful to Jeff Gorse for giving up his time to lead the walk and for sharing so much of his knowledge along the way. As many will know, Jeff always brings far more than just bird facts, with plenty of fascinating insights about the woodland and the wildlife that call it home.

The walk gave visitors a chance to slow down, listen, look up, and appreciate the changing season in the company of others who care about this special place. Events like this are a wonderful reminder of how much there is to discover in Borsdane Wood, even on familiar paths.

We are very pleased to say that Jeff will be back in the woods again soon, resuming his role as our resident “Batman” for the upcoming bat walk. Further details on that event will be shared soon.
