Borsdane Wood Through Alex’s Lens

We were delighted to be given permission to share this lovely collection of photographs taken recently in Borsdane Wood by Alex Stringer.

These images capture some of the quieter details that make time in the wood so important. Together, they offer a wonderful reminder of the variety, beauty and sense of calm that Borsdane Wood provides throughout the seasons.

A robin in full voice, captured mid-song in the calm of Borsdane Wood.

Alex described how returning to Borsdane after some time away was something he had really missed, and how revisiting the woodland and listening to the birdsong reminded him of the calm and comfort places like Borsdane can offer We think many visitors will understand exactly what he means. Borsdane Wood has a special way of helping people slow down, take notice, and feel restored by the natural world around them.

We are very grateful to Alex for allowing us to share his photographs on the website so that others, including those not on Facebook or not able to visit in person, can enjoy them too.

Thank you, Alex, for capturing and sharing these beautiful moments from the wood.
