At the beginning of May, we are sharing a quiet film recorded in Borsdane Wood during a spring morning.
The film captures the woodland as it wakes up, with changing light, early spring growth, birdsong and natural sound recorded on location. No music or artificial sound has been added, so what you hear is the atmosphere of the woods as it was at the time.
Although the footage was recorded at the end of April, it marks the arrival of May beautifully, with the woodland beginning to feel full, green and alive again.
The video can be watched below.

Did you know that Borsdane Wood and Rayner Park Friends Group are always glad to hear from people who would like to help care for the wood and park? Volunteering can be as much or as little as you are able to offer, and every bit of help makes a difference.
If you would like to find out more about volunteering, then please see this post.
Many thanks!
