April was another busy month for the Friends Group, with volunteers contributing time across practical conservation work, community engagement, events, administration, and website management.

During April, volunteers supported activities across:

• Borsdane Wood
• Rayner Park
• The Precinct
• Spring Walk activities
• Bat Walk preparations and support
• General administration and online updates

Including practical volunteering, event support, administration, and website management, the total volunteer contribution for April is estimated at approximately 49 hours.

A huge thank you goes to everybody who continues to support the group and give their time to help care for and promote these important local green spaces. Every contribution, whether practical work outdoors or behind-the-scenes organisation and admin, helps make a real difference.

If anybody fancies joining our merry crew, you’d be more than welcome! Whether you can spare a couple of hours occasionally or would like to get more involved, every bit of help genuinely makes a difference.
