May was another important month for Friends of Borsdane Wood and Rayner Park, with our volunteers giving 34 hours of their time to help care for the woodland and green spaces.
These hours represent the steady, practical work that often happens in the background: checking the woods, keeping an eye on paths and entrances, litter picking, reporting issues, helping with planning, and supporting the ongoing care of the area. It is this regular commitment that helps keep Borsdane Wood and Rayner Park welcoming, cared for and enjoyed by the local community.
Every hour matters. Whether someone gives a full morning, a short visit, helps at an event, reports a problem, or simply supports the group’s work, it all contributes to the long-term care of these much-loved local spaces.
A huge thank you to everyone who gave their time in May. Your support helps protect the woodland, improve the park, and keep the group moving forward.
We are always grateful for new volunteers, whether you can help regularly or only occasionally. If you would like to get involved, see this post to get in touch with Friends of Borsdane Wood and Rayner Park.
Thank you to all our volunteers for your continued time, care and support.
